The four lepers found food and saved a city (2 King 7)
What they found ... food that could save the city
“When the lepers arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and hid it.” ```

~2 Kings 7:8-9 (NLT)
What they talked about ... The danger of not sharing the news
9 Finally, they said to each other, "This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren't sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let's go back and tell the people at the palace." ~2 Kings 7:9 (NLT)
What they did ... shared the good news
“So they went back to the city and told the gatekeepers what had happened. "… Then the gatekeepers shouted the news to the people in the palace.” ~2 Kings 7:10-11 (NLT)
What they accomplished ... saved the people from starvation
"By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, five quarts of choice flour will cost one piece of silver, and ten quarts of barley grain will cost one piece of silver." ~2 Kings 7:18 (NLT)
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.” ~Rom 1:16 (NIV)
3. Hope for One More
There are thousands and thousands of starfish on the beach. When the sun rises they will all die if they are left on the beach. The boy who picked up the star fish and put it back to the sea said: “It made a difference for that one.”
You can make a difference.
