The purpose of Life Group Ministry
1. Fellowship (Koinonia)
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another— and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ~ Hebrews 10:24-25
2. Edification
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
~ Ephesians 4:15-16
3. Discipleship
8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. ~ John 15:18
4. Evangelism
40 Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas (which, when translated, is Peter). ~ John 1:40-42
